Mods

Most of the mod's I have done deal with the car stereo in my 3000GT

Since more folks have been asking I've added a photo of the Kenwood KCA-R7 optional remote. As you can see the original purpose of the KCA-R7 is to add wheel mounted controls to autos that have none. The installers removed the cover from the remote and used just the printed circuit board from it. The printed circuit board and batteries are small enough to fit into the compartment that houses the steering wheel mounted controls once one of its circuit boards is removed. Wires were attached from KCA-R7's printed circuit board to the switches behind the wheel mounted controls (the original wires used were disconnected).
Also used in this install but not shown a MTX Thunder 280 amp connected to a pair of Infinity Kappa 63i speakers mounted in the factory door locations.

The only performance mod on my car is a K&N FIPK

I have also installed PIAA Platinum Super White bulbs for the head lights & fog lights. I had the Blue ion head lights and fog lights installed and grew to dislike them. The PIAA Platinum Super White bulbs just BLOW the Blue ions away....Their not cheep but all I can say is get em their worth the price!!

A Valentine One radar detector with the concealed display option is also installed with the power cord running across the head liner and down the "A" pillar to a power source under the dash..

I also use a Garmin Color Street Pilot GPS for navigation. This in an invaluable tool when traveling in locations that your are not familiar.
